Puissalicon is a beautiful circular village at the base of a feudal castle dating back to the 11th century and houses a gothic church that was erected in 1337. Approximately one kilometre from the village, in the middle of the cemetery, stands a Romanesque tower , a vestige of the Saint-Étienne de Pezan monastery, stands up. This structure is on the list of French Historic Monuments.

Dear Elizabeth,
We enjoyed our residence in this Gite. The owners had given a great deal of thought to the setting up of the Gite and to the equipment.
It was comfortable regardless of the cold weather. The temperature was quite comfortable because of the excellent central heating.
We would like you to pass on our thanks fot the local region wines that they left for us. The Chardonnay Haute Vallée de L'Orb impressed us greatly.
The red wines La Croix d'Austeran Bordeaux and Chateau de Canterran 1996 et 1988 which we purchased confirmed our opinion of French wines.
